The chart demonstrates the stages of honey bee’s life cycle.
As we can see the complete cycle lasts between 34 and 36 days. The life cycle involves six main states in the development of the honey bee, from eggs to mature adult insects.
The first stage begins when female typically lays one or two eggs every 72 hours, which was followed by hatching from eggs after nine to ten days, and immature bees, called nymphs, which lack of their strips emerge. Afterwards, nymphs moult three times, shedding their skin. This mounting first takes place 5 days after the eggs hatches, then 7 days later, and continue to another 9 days. Afterwards, the young adult honey bee emerge from its final moulting stage, identified by their horizontal back trips. These take four days to mature into larger adult bee whose backs are marked with bolder strips, and the cycle starts over again.
